I recently visited this charming establishment and ordered water, red wine, beer, meat stew, and the country feast. The total bill came to €54.40, which felt reasonable. The food was decent. The ambiance stood out as a highlight, offering a warm and authentic atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the positive experience. Overall, it’s a place that exudes authenticity and delivers a solid experience.

I can't believe I waited until my third time in Ljubljana to come to this restaurant! This has some great authentic Slovenian food. We had the goulash, gnocchi with chicken and peas, as well as schnitzel. The food was delicious even though we couldn't finish it! The beer was also homemade and incredible. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in Ljubljana!

Nice traditional Slovenian food, especially for the city center! One last day in Slovenia meant one last day of Slovenian food, had to pick something traditional. My local friend recommended this spot and definitely was not disappointed. I ordered a meat feast which included 3 types of meat, the portion was very big so be sure to come here hungry. Overall just good food!

Guests rave about the warm and welcoming ambiance, complete with traditional decor and music. Commencing with the meal, we were treated to a sumptuous mushroom soup served in a bread bowl, delivering a satisfying crunch that yielded to a profoundly flavorful taste and texture. Regrettably, the bread bowl was not edible. The main course highlighted tender pork loin paired with roast potatoes, with the meat being exceptionally rich and boasting a perfect balance of richness and savory satisfaction. As a sweet conclusion is essential to every meal, we derived considerable pleasure from the yogurt paired with raspberry sauce, a dessert that exuded both indulgence and refinement – something one would eagerly return for on its own. The service is generally efficient and friendly. The interior decor boasts a warm and cozy atmosphere, allowing patrons to enjoy their meals in a comfortable setting.

Came for dinner and had a great time. We tried the orange wine which was lovely and I had the homemade gnocchi which was really delicious- I didn’t expect there to be much veggie options but there were a good few! Service was friendly and helpful and the interior is super cute. Reasonable prices. Would definitely come back!

It’s a touristy attraction, however, the food was okay. There are some better local food places around, however, you need to look for them. You can get an idea of Slovenian cousin after this place. To be honest, it felt overpriced based on what we get and how it tasted. However, you always pay extra in places like this. So don’t expect too much :)

Had a decent line when we walked up, but took less than 5 minutes to get seated. Food was great. The staff were polite, the beer was good. Definitely recommend.
